Day 7- Aquathlon

Today, on the coldest day of the camp with a high of 13, cool winds and occasional rain, we had a aquathlon against team Saskatchewan. The swim was 800 meters long course in the U of A pool. Transition was on the pool deck and the 5km run was a 7 loop course on the U of A campus. Everyone showed great effort, considering it was day 7 of our camp.  In the afternoon we completed the triathlon by having a 20km bike time trial out on Old Spanish Trail. Once again everyone worked hard and showed great promise for the upcoming race season.

For any of the parents wondering, the team clothing came today!!!! It looks great and everyone is pleased with the outcome.

On a side note Trevor has now been officially defeated in the Mama's Pizza pizza eating contest. Ungie consumed 8 slices of Mama's Family size pizza. Hope you feel better in the morning Riley U ;)
