The Manitoba National Triathlon Centre started operations in October of 2000 with a goal of developing athletes to compete nationally and internationally. The program currently works with the Canadian Sport Centre Manitoba, Sport Manitoba, Triathlon Manitoba and Triathlon Canada. The structure of the centre consists of the head coach (Gary Pallett) who coordinates the program and who works with the Integrated Support Team to assist with athlete development.

Man-Sask Youth Regional Championships
The 2009 Manitoba / Saskatchewan Region Youth Championship was held in Duck Mountain Provincial Park at Madge Lake in Saskatchewan on Sunday July 26th. Two MNTC team members, Shayna and Roseria, took part in this event. Congratulations to Shayna who was 1st place in the 12-13 year old girls race, and to Roseria who was 2nd place in the 14-15 girls race. Also congraulations to all of Team Manitoba for winning the Man-Sask Challange!
